Could anyone tell me the process of applying 幼稚園?
I have search in web to know that the 幼稚園 open for application on e.g. 1 Nov, could I need to be early in the morning to queue up for application form?
I need to go to work, then do I need to take 1 day leave to do this, is it need many time?
Do the 幼稚園 have quota on receiving application form? Thus I need to at least get the form and then wait for interview? Please help. Thanks

It is very depends on which kindergarten you want to apply. If it is some famous schools which have a lot of applicants, of course, line up will be expected. If you want to get the form as early as possible and then go to work after that, it will be better to go a bit earlier than the starting time. However, I don't think 1 day leave is necessary, you may just need a few hours, which also depends on how far that school is from your working place.

Normally, there is no quota for application form. Of course, you need to get the form and wait for interview. But the interview is not the same day as you line up for the form.

If you have any questions, you better call the school you want to apply and ask for details.

Different kindergartens have different policies and mode of application.  You would have to ring each and every target kinder to find this out.

A lot of kindergartens nowadays (including reputable ones like Kentiville & St. Catherine's) are giving out application forms by post.  You only need to write to the school to obtain a form.  There are some which even allow you to download their forms from the internet.  Of course there are still a few very traditional schools which only give out forms in person so that you can't avoid the long queue, eg. Pui Ching, St, Nicholas, but these are the minorities.  Don't panic! It's only the begninng of October and you still got time.

What you should do now is to find out which kindergarten(s) you have in mind and then ring up each of them on Monday.  They will tell you what to do, what documents to submit and what their deadlines are.
