在BK聽聞這幼稚園已改名為"唔方樂趣", 因為十分講錢, (eg: 遲到接小朋友放學都要罰錢)

Very bad.
My son enrolled the nursery class on this August. It is the "International class", teaching by the English naive speaking teacher. But the teacher is an Indian. Her English is worse than my P. maid. Not well prepare for the class. In the first two days, the school let parent staying with the student. The teacher brought my son to the toilet and left him to the other staffs. After washing my son's hand, they helped the other children. No one take care my son. He ran out from the toilet. I followed my son. He nearly ran out of the school. No staff noticed that. therefore, I don't let my son to study in this school. Their method have no changed in this 10 years. Is is a very very bad school I have ever seen.

I want to know as well. As my daughter will start her nursery in next month. She will go to Tsuen Wan Branch (海濱分校）. But I choose this school because my friend has good comment on it. May it be for the reson is different branch ?

I heard that the teachers there are so busy that the follow up work of the kid is not good, even to see the teacher, that is very hard But i have another opinion from the BK is that it's good. Anyway, i choose 海濱 because it has a lot of space and fewer students there that teacher can pay more attention to him and my daughter can play around happily. My friend also give me the comments that his son studied there very well.

My son used to study in Tusen Wan, 海濱. Very very bad. Even I informed the teacher my son quit, she didn't ask me the reason. I've pay about $5000 for 2 days. Do you know my son is only 2 years old. When I bought the uniform, the teacher said they have no more M size coat. She asked my to buy the L size. I refused. She insisted to put the L size coat on my son. That make my son cried. In fact, when my son was 1 year old, I took him for interview. The teacher asked my son some letters, some colours. My son know some of them. Then she asked my son for linking. The relationship of hen and egg. I'm wondered the knowledge of the teacher. How can a one-year-old child can answer her question. I don't like this school. But I want him to learn more English. So I let him to go this school which is near my house. I'm so disappointe that the teacher interviewed with my boy is only a clark in the school. The international class is only has 3 students including my son.

The 海濱分校 has just opened for 3-4 years. All branches of the the Funful Kindergarten follow the same curriculum which is quite traditional. The school (indeed all kindergarten in Riviera Gardens)face a problem of demand deficit so the number of pupils in each class is small. I think small class teaching, big and new school are their strong points.

I totally agree your points that why I choose this school. Are you baby still in Riviera branch ? My daughter will join the N.J.(International class)am in October.

Hi! Bettychow,

My daughter is now attending the nursery class in Discovery Park since early last month. I know there are bad comments from other BK moms, some said teachers are not as good as they expected, teachers are too busy & difficult to contact, amahs are a bit 求其 ...etc.

I dare not to say Funful is a good school & actually it really not my 1st choice (for K1, most probably I will send my girl to other school) but I think it is acceptable.  The main reason for me to send my girl there is that it is near my home, I don't want my little 2-year old girl to take school bus everyday.  In Funful Discovery Park, I don't need school bus service, my maid will take my daughter to go to school everyday.  Frankly speaking, I am not recognized any teacher there except my daughter's class teacher.  In the first week, the class teacher has phoned me several times to let me know my daughter's progress and that really make me feel much more comfortable and lessen my worries.  I have also called this class teacher once to discuss something about my daughter and she's attitude is positive.  Perhaps I am lucky but up till now I found this school is still fine with me.

As far as my daughter is concerned, she loves to go to school everyday.  When she got sick last week, she even asked me why we don't take her to go to the school.  Also, I'm glad that I can see my daughter's improvement during this month, such as:

1/ sharing (though still need improving)
2/ eat by herself (more neatly than before)
3/ bad temper has been improved
4/ willing to take advice (受教)
5/ discipline learning

Again, the above is only my own opinion.  If any mom have other comments, I am glad to learn.

Thanks you for information of Funful (愉景新城).
My case same as you, the main reason for me to send my daughter there is that it is near my home. So I want to my daughter is full day for K1.
I live in Discovery Park, I find that other good school is near my home. I dont' want my daughter to take school bus everyday so far away.

I find that full day school, I don't know this school is good & bad ?

荃灣慧中(中英文)幼稚園(海濱花園)
旭輝幼稚園(荃景圍)
聖文嘉中英文幼兒園 (麗城花園)

Do you know that other good school of full day for K1 ? Suggest to me.
