Re: Step ahead language centre
Well, janetlo,
I live in Sham Tseng. I don't go to famous nursery or kindergarten. Just staying in Sham Tseng, 香港保護兒童會深井幼兒園.
What I consider is the school fee, close to home and the environment is acceptable. As most nursery is more or less the same, only those international or famous schools emphasis much more on acadamic subjects, which I am not quite concern as I will not apply for private or 直資小學.
If my financial is in acceptable condition, I will find one or two extra course for my son. Like just now, I enrol for English class for my son, but maybe only for a short term as my huddy is now unemployed. I am not sure when I will quit again.
I believe that 家庭及道德教育 comes first. Of course, if the child can have a better fundamental on English and others, his road to success may be more easy. But, sometimes, parents are too much over worried.
Yup. Most nursery in Tsuen Wan is full and has a waiting list. St. Monica (聖文嘉)seems always has vacancy as the fee is quite expensive for full day, $3,800. I like 邊耀良at 寶石大廈, too. But, when I enrol last year, I am at 13 of the waiting list and I don't want to wait. I think 邊耀良's waiting list is shorter. 保良局 also has a nursery in 麗城花園, seems the comments is ok. The environment is fine as they can go out to the outdoor playground to have exercises, not much school has this. The Salvation Army, you can forget about it if you are not on the waiting list now, as usually has to wait for 2 years. : |
