My daughter was allocated to the school in first round because she has 20 points ( 5 religious, 5 eldest kid and 10 age). She is lucky has chance to draw and success. I have a friend also success in 2nd round central allocation.
I will help my girl apply the foundation music course and let her try 2 lessons, if she don't like it, I will quit the course before payment (yearly amount). As they only collect $300 when registration and collect the remaining after 2 lessons.
Last year when I select school to my girl, many parents told me that they favourit City One Lui Ming Choi becuase it's academic result is better and Shatin Wai's one is more active with many project to do. My girl is a very very active, naughty girl, she don't like heavy study pressure. I don't want her always crying to do homework and do exercise. I am a working mum, I cannot follow her homework closely. So I select Shatin Wai Lui Ming Choi as the first choice. It is an active school and suit my girl characters. Although it has many projects and activities to do, I think it is good to kids know more knowledge other than school books. I like this kind of study for kids knowledge development. I can assist her to do the project exercise. That's why I select this school.
In the music concert, I ask some parents from this school, they all said their kids study very happy in this school. The teacher is very nice to students. If any kid is poor in any subject, they will contact the parent and help the kid studying after the school until they pick up the course. There has many chance to let their kids develop the faith, feel, fantasy and fun. Their kids academic result are not bad in general even have many extra activities. They told me that most of the student are happy to study here. The above are some comment from school parents.
