岩岩係11月8號同9號見完幾間幼稚園, 感覺真係好似打仗, 之後就唸....而家先係幼稚園, 到小學時又係好跨張!

你地有咩心情呢? 不過如果唔試過又會後悔, 起碼都見識下D學校。

我見佐三間, 有以下感想:

一) 民生

學校因為一條龍, 校舍大同多人面試, 所以學校搵佐自己D童軍學生做流程支援, 大家都要按時間排隊, 感覺到學校都好注重風紀律。但到IN時, 很多人一班, 分開小組比小朋友玩, 之後老師分別問家長同小朋友幾條問題, 就見完, 實在太小時間, 同兒戲, 今年人數可能太多, 之前都會問多D問題, 而家就預先俾定問卷你填, 時間都慳埋。

真係有D走馬看燈!!!

二) 劍嗚

之前, 因看到網上話學校超收生要迫學生退學, 都唸住唔考慮, 而且去到見到校舍比較細, 同埋又有不同書籍售買感覺都太商業。

但面試後比較其他學校, 又覺得佢地比較全面。因為佢地會分幾部份去考小朋友, 首先會幾位小朋友以小組形式, 由老師講故事, 小朋友答問題, 又會唱歌跳舞, 睇下佢地投入程度, 跟住先單對單考小朋友, 由老師問問題同跟住指令做動作, 考小朋友有D理解, 手眼協調能力同服從性, 就算小朋友之前唔肯講, 都可以俾機會佢做動作。至於家長就預先填問卷到比較好。

面試後都有不同遊戲俾小朋友玩，所以覺得劍嗚在面試部份做得好努力同全面。

三) 根德園

就如外界說法一樣, 學校不注重活動, 面試日學校沒有安排任何地方俾小朋友玩, 只分開男女到時間才入內。

老師穿著比較正經斯文, 面試時都係例牌問題, 唔會好多時間俾你。

學校感覺就比較COOL, 正如D人講, 只會谷小朋友功課, 沒有太多其他歡樂。

今個星期仲有兩間學校要面試, 真係要親身了解間學校才可決定邊一間較好。

My boy only had an interview at 劍嗚. I have the same good impression on this school as domyoji.

All the school staffs are smiling to kids. That makes me really comfortable. And school aslo ask PTA parents to help during the playtime and school tour after interview. They are nice too. They help kids to make hand craft.

Although my boy didn't perform well during the interview(he doesn't talk or answer the interviewer's questions), the interviewer still comfort me : "He is shy, isn't he? it's ok. we know some kids are shy. At least he understands what I am talking about". That's really make me feel better. I don't think the teacher is giving any hint that my boy is passed or failed. But I really had a happy time in this school.

我剩係見過民生, 感覺佢地有d 馬虎了事, 真係唔知見個一陣, 問兩條傳統的問題, 感覺佢名氣大, 但實質只係一般.

I was impressed by my little daughter, she did very gd job because of she only 2 yrs old! I think it's not easy for a 2 yrs old kid to go for interview one by one!

nov is a busy month for my son's interview too, almost having two in each Sat. To be honest, i felt sorry for him, remembered once, my boy told me before we arrived at the school. He said, " mom, isn't that we can leave after i answered those questions?" My heart felt soar, why i have to take my son to soo many interviews, what do we want? I just want him happy!!

haha, good point! The school is not that big, I always wonder how it could accomodate almost 500 students at the same time, not to mention if there's any accident...

We interviewed Kentville and St. Cat on Nov 8. I had a better impression with Kentville and the environment of St. Cat is not so desirable for small kids. St. Cat does not have a big open area and the classrooms are small and compact and not too many windows.

I applied for 3 schools - 2 rejected and 1 accepted. The 2 rejected are supposed to be easier to enter while the accepted one is the most difficult one. My conclusion is that K1 interviews are mostly luck. Perfect performance doesn't mean you'll get the offer. Poor performance may still got a place. So those who got accepted, congratulations. Those who are rejected, don't be sad. It's not your bb's fault or is it your bb not smart enough. It's just a matter of luck. So cheer up, you may still get a place even on waiting list or you could try again for K2 next year. Hope that every of our kids would have a happy school life.

This is the first project your family including your baby to do together. Everyone should be proud of the effort spent. Take it easy everyone, our young family still has a long long way to go. A lot of challenges are waitiing for us. This time you lose, next time your win. That's life!!!

我地IN左7間,分別係根德園,ST CAT,金巴倫,YORK,聖若望,學之園,劍明,除左劍明未出result,其餘都收左,我同老公都有dd為自己個仔而感到自豪,好似好膚淺啊!

in左咁多間,當中感覺最好既係金巴倫,in左大半個鐘,可以慢慢同個主任傾計了解學校,主任亦可以了解到小朋友既特性,唔似其他學校小朋友都未warm up就走得!

另外劍明都安排得幾好,俾小朋友有足夠時間warm up之後先由一位老師問小朋友問題,一間房只有兩張枱in緊,唔會好似其他學校咁一間房同時in好多人好嘈又容易distract小朋友既注意力,我小朋友都因此而發揮得好好.

當中in得最差既係學之園,事關前前後後in左成個鐘,中間仲要有個校長簡介學校,又唔多玩具俾小朋友消磨時間,我個仔去到最尾要同校長傾計果part已經冇唒耐性唔肯坐低o係櫈度喇!

不過in到第7間聖若望都真係有夠唒皮既感覺,所以之後有d攞左form都冇遞表lu.

好犀利

小朋友會唔會辛苦?

我個囝就in咗4間, 金巴倫, st cat, 根德園同民生,佢越in越差, 所以民生reject, 根德園waiting, st cat同金巴倫收咗!!

不過感覺上有d學校真係唔知佢用?準則收生

, 就算係大仔又或者答啱所有問題, 都唔代表會收, 真係睇彩數!!!

I think it's a very good experience. Though my girl haven't been accepted by all schools, I'm so proud of her. She's a small b, born in Nov 06. She was only about 2 yr old or even less than 2 yr old when she had the interview.

I trust my bb's instinct. I will only accept the offers of the schools that she likes. I don't dare to try any school she doesn't like again.

I'm totally agree to your view. I'm still waiting result from HKPS Kowloon Tong today
