My son got an offer from St. cat & KV last year and we choose Soka, he is studing in Soka for K1 this year, he feels very happy to go to school every day.
He has 普通話堂 & English Class every week with native speaker teachers.
SC and KV are better in terms of academic performance and the frequency of Eng and PH lessons taught. So why u finally chose Soka? Could u please share?

我和老公選擇學校時有research school information. 我們覺得小朋友第一步好重要,首選學校以學生為本及注重品德,對於學術上要求,我覺得佢重有10幾年讀書,希望佢係kindergarten可以開心讀書. 當Soka 收我們小朋友, 我地決定讀.

My two sons are studying at Soka, my elder one is in K3. Education is much more than remembering a few more words or repetitive drilling in calculation. What about morality or foundation skills like creativity, memory, organization, concentration, spatiality... These foundation skills can be built at early children and are critical for their academic development. School has an important in their development. But, parents, please don't put all the responsibility on the school. If the school is able to inspire your child, that's already an ideal and suitable school. Parents are very hardworking in finding a good school but don't forget that we have to work 10 times harder to teach our children. If you want your children to learn more words, it's very simple. Spend around 15 minutes every day reading books with them. Play some borad games with them to enhance their intelligence and lay a good foundation for their future study.
At Soka, the NET teachers are very professional and are able to inspire a love for English in the children. Just spend time reading the children at home, my sons can read readers of primary school. For Maths, the operational Maths at Soka is very inspiring, not only for calulation but train up their high-order thinking. In K3, the children should be able to master the basic of multiplication and division.
