I have received a call from my friend. She has received a letter from Education Department (ED). The letter has stated that it is a random check for the home address. She has given the evidence to prove her her home adress. Does any Mummy get this letter?

I wonder if ED has sent the letter now to check the home address?

Same case as last year. Quite a number of parents rec'd letter requesting for additional address proof.

首輪不是可以誇區及只計分數嗎, 點解要check地址, 唔係好明 ?

因為地址係首輪o個時已經報埋, 如果你冇通知佢轉地址, 佢就用第一次報o既地址o黎同你分區.

I also receive the call from ED in this afternoon, they said they have sent out a letter to request for additional prove, and want to make sure I get the letter. I'm in net 31.

No need to submit the additional doc by person, they said I can send back by mail or fax.

Is her address proof provided last time not sufficient enough, that's why EDB asked her to prove again?
I think starting random check at this moment is too early and wasting resourses.

No, it's not because of insufficient information provided last time. In the letter, it stated that it's a random check for addtional information.

I think last year too many people used 假地址, 所以今年早啲抽查和查多啲囉. 都係好事嚟嘅..
