Mums, please help.

My daughter was born in 4dec06. I dont know if I should let her be a 細女 or 大女. If she's a 細女, can she repeat K1 if she fails to follow the class? No sponsor from government for a year? If she'a 大女, she will need to take N1 for 2 years. Is it good?

She's very talkative.....can speak names (her owns, parents' and close relatives') , sentences more than 10 words, ask questions, read captain letters, numbers, sing songs (several sentences). In playground, she not only steps up/down, she climbs on leaders to reach sliders, rides cars on her own.

Would it be a big problem for her to be a 細女?

your daughter development is so good and even great! If I were you, no need to consider, must let her to be a 'small girl', I think many schools will accept her as her performance is better than lots of 'big girl'.

你個女好醒呀! 不過咁, 唔排除好多學校會戴住有色眼鏡的, 亦唔知小朋友interview狀況點
你可以試下考k1, 有d學校, 無辦法, 真係唔足歲數唔收的, 有d都會俾下機會, 得左咪好lor, 唔得既, 搵間讀住k1先, 出年再黎過又得! (到時可以再同老師傾下佢適合repeat k1, 定直上k2, 定轉校插k2)

你個女好叻呀，我個女係一月出世，未足２歲時係唔識講野．．．你唔駛擔心，，你可以比佢試吓k1先啦，真係有問題，可以轉校repeat k1, 掂就升k2. 進可攻，退可守．不過，你個女咁叻，一定可以跟到k1的程度．

That means , I can try to apply K1 for 09/10. If she cant follow the class, then she can repeat K1 in 10/11. I know, some schools have N1 (for 2 yr) & K1-K3. Can they provide assessment/suggestion if my girl is more suitable for N1 or K1?

其實你同囡囡去搵多幾間Ｋ１，面試時睇吓D老師反應，再睇吓多唔多學校收佢，D學校收得佢，即係佢係得啦，唔駛擔心．你都可以去間N1度問．

我囝囝0611出世,近幾個月都在考慮大細仔問題,聽咗好多意見,主張做大仔既覺得做細仔會唔開心及有錯敗感,因為可能比其他小朋友學習慢;支持做細仔既覺得應該俾多個機會試下,因為近年出生率高,入學一年比一年競爭大. 我覺得各有道理, 不過最重要都係bb的需要同邊樣適合佢,因為個個小朋友既發展唔同,部分快d部分遲d.

雖然我未知有冇學校收佢(佢interview唔係時時睬人),我打算俾佢試下做細仔,因為佢求知欲好強,好鐘意睇書,成日响屋企會好悶. 佢幾個月前開始講野,而家應該識百多二百個英文生字(數字,顏色,動物,生果,身體部分等).有d係唔睇圖只睇字都可以讀. 近來有時成句講e.g. I am going home. / Of course not / What happens to (my) leg? (佢俾蚊針).
Playgroup老師話佢有時可以完成3歲的智力遊戲(睇心情).

我只想佢可以開心,如果佢有興趣學習知識,我希望可以儘量配合俾個開心既學習環境佢,我唔諗住搵d好大壓力既學校(例如好早寫字/好多功課),我估啟發性响呢個年齡重要d. 而家都仲諗緊邊d學校較適合.

Both of your child is super smart!  If I were you, I will definitly make them as "small boy" as their ability seems well established and good at  communication.

They are ready to go to school from what you described!
