Just finished the interview at 高主教, my son didn't perform well. He didn't sit down properly & quietly during the interview. I guess he has very low chance to get a place.

He may get a place finally, don't give up.
By the way, how's the interview process? Is it parents and child interview together at the same time or separately? Please share, cos my son will have an interview on next week.

The interview is fast and takes about 30 mins to complete.

Upon arrive the school, you will be invited to a waiting room. The teacher will then invite parents and kid to the interview room and start conversation with parents first. I guess most questions to parents are related to our daily life.

After finished talking to parents, the teacher will then interview the kid alone (parents need to wait at the waiting room). My son told that the questions are quite simple and in cantonese, no story or play time.......

我今天也見完,首先大人小朋友一起入房等,之後老師再叫家長及小朋友一起去另一個房,一房三張枱,分別見三對親子,(問家長):放假同小朋友去邊玩,搭校車小朋友唔乖會點做?之後叫家長出番課室留下小朋友,老師再(問小朋友):有乜課外活動??喜歡爸爸定媽媽多d??之後叫3位小朋友一起玩拼圖,全部只用了20分鐘...沒有問英文及普通話的..

Thanks for your update, my son didn't mention of 拼圖 and I checked with him just now and he say yes.......

BTW, do you think father's attendance is important?

我仔仔都係今日in. 完, 大致上都係同你地講的一樣, 問我的只有5分鐘, 問如果小朋友上堂吾專心騷擾同學我會點處理, 問有無親子節目. 之後小朋友就約10分鐘o.k. 了.
至於father's attendance is important or not. 我都係一個人帶阿仔, 咁10個家庭, 都有2-3個都只係媽咪帶去的.

對呀! 問題大致相同, 問放假同小朋友去那裡玩. 問小朋友的問題好simple,我相信所有小朋友都識得答. 所以真不知RC如何choose their students. Some applicants have no show, perhaps same interview time with other schools.

我覺得學校的location很不方便, 等了很久也冇taxi.

今日見到好多家長甚至連小朋友都穿得好CASUAL, T-SHIRT & JEANS, 球衣& 短褲…..會否他們只把今次INTERVIEW作為吸取經驗?!

INTERVIEW過程好短, 但之前在waiting room等咗超過半個鐘, 家長&小朋友沒事可做.

我個仔浄係話砌拼圖, 冇提到同另外兩位小朋友一齊砌添?!
