For 普通本地小學, you are certainly entitled to apply & they cannot reject your application on the ground of which kindergarten your kid attends, ie if you have enough points, you'll be accepted.
For 直資學校, you can apply but the school has the right to reject you if they feel that your kid's kindergarten is not up to their requirement but most will consider the performance of your kid at interview.
As to whether your kid can adapt once she gets in, it will depend on how much extra work (especially Chinese) you have provided for her outside school.
