Hennessy Road Govt PM School vs. 北角衛理

Someone is saying the teachers in Hennessy Road Govt School (PM section) are very old fashioned and the school's performance is declining.  Also they highly recommend  北角衛理 (both AM and PM section).

How would you choose?  My son has got Hennessy Road in the lucky draw but he's also amitted to 北角衛理 after interview.

Is it silly to give up Hennessy Road (a very famous govt school) and take  北角衛理?

If you live in North Point area, I think you choice is correct actully! I also agreed with your selection.

I can easily assess to both schools so distance-wise is not a problem.

Do you mean you agree with me choosing 北角衛理?  Why?  As most people that I asked said that I should choose Hennessy Road because it's famous. I personally prefer 北角衛理 because I'm afraid Hennessy is more pressurized and I want my son to have a happy primary school life.

軒尼詩道官小是名校，因它聯繫到「皇仁書院」。我亦曾慕名到這學校取表格，想為小兒轉到這校。我去過幾次，只覺得職員的態度有點欠佳，反而校工就很有禮貌。至於老師的質素如何就不大了解。

其實兩間教學方法有不同,'軒官小'用傳統教學法,會壓力比較大,但口啤略為勝些, 而'北角衛理'近幾年轉用了評估教學,沒有考試和測驗.看平時學習上作評估(怎樣評估法就不清楚),但聽朋友講,'衛理'校長和老師都很好.如果你對'評估教學法'係有信心,你選'衛理'會好些,因不會有太大壓力.

Anyone knows which secondary schools normally the students will go after completing course at 北角衛理小學 (except the 衛理中學).

My girl is studying at 北角衛理幼稚園 K2, and next year i need to choose which primary school for her to go.  I hope i can hear more comments on this primary school or any other good ones in this area.  Many thanks.
