Which PN to choose? LH vs Victoria HG [複製鏈接]

Victoria HG has accepted my kid for PN pm class.  However, it will take at least 45 mins door-to-door.

Learning Habitat is close to our home.  Just 10 mins walk.

If I attend Vic, the advantage is having a higher chance to admit K1 (My kid can take the school bus from K1).

But LH is close to our home which spend less time to travel.

How will you choose?  Pls share your comment.  Thanks.

If your K1-3 target is Vic, I will suggest you choose Vic. You can read stories, sing along with your kid on the journey to school, don't think that is wasting your time.

Actually I think it is fine to travel but just my husband felt that it is too tough for small kid to travel everyday back and forth.  He think PN doesn't matter just for fun.

This is my struggle.

Of course I will try to apply other kinder for K1 but I want to place safe if I study in PN will get a higher chance to K1 in Victoria.  I believed Victoria is a good one.

我同你一樣LH & VICTORIA (HG)都收咗LOCATION 大家差不多,我會選VICTORIA 因為歷史&教學質數應該會好D, 但係VICTORIA會好遲先開學,所以我會俾囡囡返LH先,等VICTORIA OK 啦先轉.
其實好多人對VICTORIA KLN SIDE D COMMENT 唔係太好&出名,我覺得每個人嘅睇法係唔同及家長嘅要求唔同 (個人意見,如有不滿請見諒 )
我諗你所選擇都係為小朋友好

1. about 20-30mins, Vic HG 就可以早d下車
2. yes, 因為Vic HG應該10-12月先開學,我諗如果唔返lh 都要報其他playgroup ,不如早ｄ返俾佢習慣吓到時先轉校. 據我所知有好幾位同我case 一樣(我諗lh 係e段時間會有好多人退學 )

I have also reserve a seat at HG for my son. If I have been offered by 2 kinders, I think I will still go for HG, because they have good record of going to some of my target primary school and most important is, I don’t have to worry about interview anymore at others kinder for his K1.



Age and distance of school are always my concern. Even though it is only a 10 minute walking distance from my home to LH, I still not comfortable to let my helper bring him to school.

By the way, my daughter is actually study her PN at LH now. If anybody interested to get their winter uniform and just want to stay there before HG start school, I can sell them to you. It is still nice and clean, as my daughter only joined them since Feb, so we only use that for less then 3 months before change to summer uniform. If interested just pm me. I can show you the photos. Sorry, I am supposed not to do this here, but just fell it is really a waste if wear you only need that for 2 months and need to buy a new set.

咁各位讀完LH再轉去Vic HG嘅媽咪可唔可以到時再報料，比較一吓兩間學校的異同／好壞？

其實我大女讀過LH﹝那時Vic HG未開﹞，都幾好，校舍寬敞整潔、設備充裕。校長作風開放而務實，鼓勵家長教師保持溝通，學期間會有安排觀課、與校長面談、及舉辦各種講座。學校行政企理妥當，學生紀錄、通告、功課安排都井井有條，其實我都會推介。

Victoria is much more well-known and lots of famous primary schools like to accept Victoria's graduates.

LH (HL) accept my girl for nursey, pm class, I have some queries and hope other mama can tell me your opinion.
actually, is it more worth to study at victoria as similar fee for LH and Victoria? , i.e. $3-4K

p.s. any uniform for LH available, I think my girl will join LH at Oct 08.

May I know if your girl is a small girl?  LH principal has mentioned that they won't accept small girl for the time being.  Would u mind when you got the offer?
