The so called top local schools and ISs would be in deep shit if they cannot outdo ISF in Chinese and English respectively. But, can anyone outperform ISF in both Chinese and English at the same time?

I can only say it depends. One of my colleagues (an ABC Taiwanese who speaks very little Chinese) and my gweilo neighbors (who are from Holland) have children at ISF. I don't think their children's English ability is lower than that of student at HKIS or CIS. In fact, my neigbours' boy used to study at HKIS. They are very happy with ISF and trying to enrol their younger daughter to the foundation year class.

It was true in the past but probably this will not happen in the future as most of the IS will switch to adopt IBD like ISF and the requirements on Chinese level will be more or less the same. Please note that in the past, there were many Chinese IS students even gave up Chinese
