我的女兒也獲得RC取錄，但最近我一位朋友告訴我，她的外籍朋友女兒在RC就讀，因為很多同學在課堂外常說廣東話，令女兒難以投入校園生活；我又聽見一些傳言，指RC原意想中英教學並重，但倒頭來兩邊不討好。
我的女兒現於康樂園國際學校就讀，該校近年教學模式獲得很高的評價，加上學生大部分是外籍人士，英語水平令我非常放心和滿意，我一位SJS家長朋友告訴我，近年SJS和RC專收該校學生，無論考小學及轉校也命中率超高。
我選擇不考SJS只讓女兒考RC是希望她讀IS開心之餘，中文也能兼顧得好，但如果倒頭來中、英文也兩面不討好就慘了，真的不知如何選擇。希望RC或HLYIS的家長可給予寶貴意見！

I am RC parent. My daughter enjoys her school life, my husband and I has satisfied thus far.

But, my advice is "If in doubt, leave it out!"

Kimmy Mammy,可否請教一下，RC是一間怎樣的學校？你那麼滿意一定有其優點。

So it would sound like the ultimate goal is still SJS and RC? So if SJS and RC are no good, why would people want to apply for these schools?
I have posted a message to you in another topic. Maybe you would like to read it as well.
I just do not see the significance of your creating this topic. Your child is already ay HLYIS and you are happy. And you seem to think RC is not good. So what is that 疑惑?
There are people that chose HLYIS over RC and there are people that chose RC over HLYIS. They must have their own reasons and they can all be happy parents. Your are with HLYIS and I am with RC. We are both happy and isn't that good?
You are welcome to ask for information and advices. Your are welcome to come to discuss. However, if you are coming here to ask everyone to bash RC with you, it is not going to happen.
I have made my choice by putting both children in RC. But I have never said anything bad about HLYIS, have I? Or at least, I do not think it is fair and sensible to openly say a school is not good with one's own limited knowledge about a school. It is easy to type up a message and post it on the internet. No one can find out who you are. But we are all adults and adults have to act responsibly.
Everyone should support his own school. But it is not "patriotic" to support your own school by bashing on other schools. If you ask me, you are doing something that is quite the other way around: you have given me a negative impression.

students in RCHK secondary smokes
take fotoz during class
listen to ipod during class
etc.
so i think
Yew Chung Int'l school is better

Hi lollipop (or I should say a new comer registered on March 2nd 2008),

Obviously you are bad-mouthing RCHK and Singapore Int'l School.  Please be reminded that we can read your responses on 5 threads simultaneously.

My cousin is studying in Yew Chung Secondary and my daughter is studying in RC Primary.  I am sure I know well in both schools.  Have you visited both schools personally?

I don't mean YC is not good. Fortunately my cousin is studying very well in this school.

Just a wild guess.  Are you a student in YC and rejected by RC Secondary?

For other parents, it had better visit the schools and find out the facts rather than reading any rumours here.
