My girl is in P.1 pm class.
Mon - ballet 10:30-11:15, lunch outside, school bus pick up near to ballet school at 11:45
Wed - drawing 9:15-11, lunch outside, school bus pick up near to drawing centre at 11:45
Thur - phonics 10-11, lunch outside, school bus pick up near to phonics centre at 11:50
Fri - piano 10:30-11:15 at home, lunch at home, school bus pick up at home 11:50
Normally I wake her up at 9:00am and have breakfast. Only need to wake up at 8:30am on wed.
Do homework immediately after school. Normally finish dinner, shower, homework by 9:00pm. Can play for a while and go to bed at 10, or sometimes 11pm. 9 hours of sleep is enough for her.
If not much homework that night, may drive them to Victoria park to play an hour too.
Sat - ballet, writing, drawing on non school Saturday morning as she needs to go to school on alternate Saturday.
So every Sat afternoon is free to play/shopping/birthday parties.
Sun - ballet at 10:00am-11:00am, then family gatherings.
As my girl's activities are not academic at all, and only piano needs a bit of practising, she is doing fine.
Her mom and dad in laws are all overseas most of the year. But when they come to visit, I would drop several activities in that period to have more outdoor activities with them.
My other K2 girl in morning session as follows:
Tue - after school, lunch, nap, ballet at 3:15pm-4pm
Wed - drawing class 2-3:45pm, go home and sleep around 4:30pm
Sat - clay, drawing in the morning. |
