所以我希望可以考到直資,因為政府都有資助一半,但師資及課程比津校好。以前無直資就話多數選擇九年免費教育, 但若金錢許可直資會長遠比較好, 多數都係一條龍 ,不用又煩找中學。

如果沒有好的基礎又怎樣去讀大學呢! 萬一真的派了間不好的小學. 我就是派了間沒有填過的小學. 所以真的唔怕一萬至怕萬一.

上星期去大埔寶湖道某小學聽簡介會,該女校長說外面某的小學原本小一的收生不足,但一轉直資小學後即吸引大批的學生家長爭相報名,雖然我猜不到她指的是哪家小學,但可想而知直資或私小在香港社會的認可性,其實我也弄不清到底津校与直資小學除了學費差距外實質上兩者其它的分別在哪裡?一條龍當然是我等父母選擇的重要因素,另外,我會傾向英文小學,除此外,大概也是羊群心理,在經濟條件許可下一門心思的要找一家直資學校給小朋友,不得入其門後才考慮大抽獎.

Agree, agree and agree

Most DSS and private schools are through-train school. It's more than enough to play this game once for our child. If they get admitted to a DSS or private school, we as parents don't need to worry again when they promote to P.6.

Besides, DSS and private schools have more incentives to improve their performance as they need sufficient student enrollment to sustain the viability of the schools.

其實MAIN POINT不是錢，而是選擇的權利和學校教學內容、方法及質素是否有分別，有些家長連他兒子一同學習的PEER的家庭背景亦會考慮。

May I know the reasons why you were assigned to the
primary school which you did not choose before. What
school your child is now with

For myself, I prefer to take my daughter to DSS/private. At least, she is passed by interview which is fair enough
for the children who got low or no mark in the first
round.

I only got 5 marks, which is impossible to get a seat in thefirst round

My husband has the same thinking. I had applied for a DSS school, but he strongly did not agree. He said why we do not enjoy the benefit that we entitled. He prefers to pick the school which nearest our home as he thinks any kind of school is ok ....

He said he will not let our girl to study at DSS even she pass the interview. So my problem is beside for school picking, the other headache is my husband :((

Also some friends warning me that I had 2 kids, so I have to consider the expensese will be double as normally the 2nd kid will go to the same DSS school if the 1st kid study well in that DSS.

So headache !!!!

個人認為小朋友的同学背景影响很大, 私小学生質數較好, 起馬同学父母願意花時間心机教道, 性格影响一生....
