SJ is more expensive and less open.

My son studying in sjc, i choose this school because the english level of this school is quite good and this is a full day school i want him can be more independant, he always stick with me, and need either my helper or me to feed him. But the teacher told me that he is doing good in school and eat by himself in school and also willing to follow the rules in school so i think this school is quite good. I believe the english level of st catherine is very good or maybe even better than sjc, however the main different between these two school is sjc is full day in k2 and k3, k1 is optional (half or full), st.catherine is half day school.

I think u can get the application form now and send back to them and the k1 full day school fee is $4100

Oscarmom, do you think SJC is less open? Do you communicate with the school well? And will you let your child goes to SJC's primary?

I have applied SJC already, and waiting for the interview. Do you still remember how does the interview go? Is the child interview by himself? As my son is a "small-boy", I am so worry!!:cry: :cry:

So many questions

Hi! tuotuo, do u mean the communication of the school and parents is not good. Actually, i think the communication is quite good. At the beinging, the first 2 or 3 weeks, the class teacher call me every sunday morning, tell me what my son do in school and how is his performance, and i can ask her any question, and the school always have notice to give us if they have any activities or any information they want us to know. Sometimes if i have questions or anything not sure i will call the school directly and the secretary will ask the class teacher call me around 4-5pm on the same day, so i am quite satisfy about the communication between the parents and school. They most important is if u have any question just call them, they will response to u right on the same day...We just finished the parents meeting on last saturday, the class teacher is very nice and we will have picnic on next saturday, the school just start for 2 months and already have parents meeting and picnic, i think this is a very good chance for parents to know more about the school, i think we will have fun on that day...

Oh! forget to tell u about the interview, this is the only school my son need to go by himself and he is a very shy and trouble boy, luckily, he still pass the interview, so don't worry i think your son should be no problem
