Dear Parents,

Our lovely kids have been studied at St. Margaret for 1 month. Did all of you feel a little bit confuse for checking the homework via the intranet and the homework handbook?

Firstly, like the other parents, I don't really know the exact/latest time for all teachers to post up the daily homework.
Secondly, some teachers would not post up the daily homework and just ask the student to mark down on the homework handbook. Thus, how can the parents to double check with the intranet? Like my daughter, she has written 1 English homework this Friday but unfortunately no such homework posted at the intranet until now.
Does anyone tell me how can I help my daughter to check her homework?

Hi lengluiMa,

All the homework will be posted by the subject teachers in school intranet everyday. The best time to check is after 6pm. There are 2 ways to check in intranet. 1st, you may use the parent log in and check the post date. 2nd, you may check by student log in. The difference is for student log in it will indicate by "today". But the most important thing is you need to know about the group that your kid belongs to and also the teacher's name of that subject. For some subjects if all students have to do, they will not post for which group. Also, some homework already finished during the lesson. If you kid forgot to do the homework, no worry due the teacher will write a note on homework diary to remind the parent. Just like my son, he forgot to take the worksheet and the teacher wrote on his homework diary and give it back to him next day and didn't brame him. Hope this help.

Thank you for your sharing.

Actually, I'll log in both parent & stundent password to check the e-notice and homework list everyday.

But I just wonder why some homeworks do not post up in the intranet. Like G.S lesson, according to my daughter's homework diary, there was a W.S. she needed to finish but no record in the intranet. Thus, how can we follow?

Do your son have the same problem in his group?

I don't have that problem in my group. I will suggest you to email to the subject teacher to reflect your problem or if you know some parents of your daughter's group, you may check with them. Just like me, before I had problem to bring books to school. I phoned Amyyiu to verify. She helped me a lot and I also email my son's teacher Ms Tsui. She phoned me back. My problem now solved.
