My daughter just entered the K1 class of St. Cat.
Since school started on 29 Aug, the following English Vocabulary she learnt from St. Cat:
Schoolbag, Playground, Classroom, Music room, Toilet, Teacher, Student, Exercise, School bus, Kindergarten, Playing, Singing, Sitting and Eating...
There is no homework up to this moment.
She also seems to be happy and enjoying the class.

To be honest, my son know all of these words before he enter K1. And he also know many many vocabulary! Not because he is studying in SC, but since I bought him DWE!
similar to my daughter, but I did not even buy any DWE for her. We use to read the story books with her and talk to her as often as we can. The most powerful tool for Child's learning is parent's heart and time, not any other famous kinders and materials, these are just aid.

My son is studying in St.Cat--K3. He seems happy and he loves his school. I agree that parents should pay more effort to the children, not only from school. The teachers are really nice in SC.
