I think there are too many classes in St. Catherine and you cannot expect that there are frequent communication between the parent and teacher. My communication with the teacher is just limited to two times a year when I receive my son's result.
Moreover, it may be my personal experience - my son's P1 allocation is not that good, no matter it is private or public. At the first beginning, I think "Brand name" can help on P1 allocation. But it seems that my though is incorrect!
I think St. Catherine is so good in its reputation that it not try to change the current practice and provide any value-added "services" to their students and that is why I think HKPS may be different.
From the school orientation of HKPS, it is understand that there are always two teachers in the class as your say and they will use the audio aids to simulate the student's learning curve. For example, they will use the computer and powerpoint in the classroom to record all the students's discussion point and then let the student review all the points as a summary to further strengthen their memory. I don't know if it is a new practice in new style kindergarten. By St. Catherins is still using paper and stick on the wall for discussion.
How do you think? Can I have more information on P1 allocation of HKPS?
