我仔做事慢吞吞,被動,成績中等,他適合播道嗎？父母唔喺好叻...

他會否被忽略呢？

怕他適應唔到....

Do U mean the P1 of the coming year (2007)...come on, U have to consider many factors but "父母唔喺好叻" is definitely not an issue.
"做事慢吞吞,被動,成績中等"...is a norm to most 6 years-old kids. That's why he/she need to be trained up in a good environment like 播道.

Thank for your reply!

We are still struggling, but most likely we would pay $1,300 first (to buy time)!

In the interview yesterday, the interviewer told my son seriously that "besides good conduct, we expect you to study hard and get good academic result because we want our student to be a leader...."

This give me some stress.... I am afraid that if my son could not cope (because he used to be a good "follower" and his intellectual level is just so-so...), then he may scare of studying and lose his confidence...

其實睇完你所描述自己的小朋友，想問番一句：「請問出面又有乜學校喜歡這類型的小朋友呢？」(真鐸？)...無讀過及研究過唔知道。如果出面都無這樣的學校fit你的小朋友，而EC又收了他，你還stuggle什麼呢？我只知真鐸前身為一所聽障學校2004轉為主流，可能因為這樣老師會特別有愛心？其實慢吞吞唔等如要人多加照顧，有時家長事事為小朋友太著想，好多時候只會扼殺了小朋友進步的空間呢！至於你話自己唔叻，我話你知我都唔叻，但我想個囝叻過我這樣夠未呢？好多狀元D父母都唔係PhD。但如果你只係為了那HK$1300元，就放棄這個學位，我個人覺得實在可惜，不過有很多其他的家長可能是Good news!

Waterfall,

Don't worry. EC is good at taking care students who are lagging behind. they are patient to those kids that are different and have needs.

It seems that you do not really understand what EC is and what are their believe. You may read through the past message in BK to find out the comments from other parents.

But one thing it will comfort you that your son will be learning happyily in EC even though he is not catching up quite well academically.
