My daughter will take P.1 in Wong Chi Ho in Sep 07. I choose this school last year due to this school former was a Chu Ching Yin pm, it was around 50% band 1 in the past. However, when this school move to Tai Wai and combine with Tai Sum Valley primary school and then form Wong Chi Ho now, the band 1 around 36% last year, it is because more band 3 student from Tin Sum Valley to decrease band 1 rate. I think this is normal result and the band 1 student is around 70 last year.

The band 1 36% combine from P.6 4 classes student from Chu Ching Yin and 2 classes from Tin Sum Valley student. The band 1 student 72 in 2006 and band 1 student 67 in 2005, there is due to two schools student combine to one school.

The princple said that there is improvement in a few year. When Tin Sum Valley student will be less when they will complete P.6.

The band 1 primary school around 33.3% band 1 P.6 student in my mind, maybe not correct.

U will call Wong Chi Ho in Sep 07, they will take P.1 seminar and other activites for interested parent.
I had saw Chinese & English lesson in classroom (P.2 and P.3) last year. So U can see more detail for this school.

This school is only my choice and I will see the true school in Sep 07.

咁係因為田心谷之前既學生質數問題, 定話係田心谷老師的教學問題?

上次佢地攪嗰個兩文三語嘉年華我都有去, 參觀過後感覺非常好, 見倒校長好積極, d老師好有愛心; 我睇番你之前d post, 我見倒你小朋友已經編咗班, 請問係點編的?
要考編班試嗎?

Tin Sum Valley has a few band 1 students. There is reason to combine Chu Ching Yin pm to maint the life of this school. There was less good comment for this school in past.

I agree with you that priniple has aggressive and teachers have heart to learn.

I attend P.1 introduction last year.
1\ P.1 seminar
2\ PTA sharing (parent sharing)
3\ lesson visit

I feel this school that is good for student development. Moreover, I saw a few Wong Chi Ho student in Youth Centre, they are polite and discipline.

My daughter is 1B and no test for student. It is based on student application.

P.1 Chinese is Cantonese and P.2 start Potunghua. It must choice by student, parent and teacher in Potunghua class (P.2 to P.6). Maybe 2 classes P.2 Potunghua in Sep 2007 (last year from priniple) , I don't know how many P.2 Potunghua class now.
