My kid is studying P.1.
It's a very good school.
Curriculum is very well structured and all rounded.
Administration is mature and transparent.
It has rich resources (two computer rooms, and big screen, computer and projector for online education in each classroom, etc)
It's also leading in educating the "gifted" children.
So, if your kid is smart, he has lots of chances to develop his potential.
For the 1st term of P.1, my kid had to get used to the homework workload. But now, the homework is reduced and my kid has better language skill and attention to cope with the homework. So, it's not a problem to her.
I was also worried about the homework at the beginning and I asked so many higher grade students and their parents. They all said it's in appropriate amount, not too much. It was a lot in the past years but now reduced a lot.
Their Chinese standard is quite high and so if your kid is weak in language, it will be harsh for him at the beginning.
Dictation: Chinese: 1/week; English 2 in 3 weeks
I'm really amaze at how my kid improves this year.
