Moving to HK...Seeking advice on kindergarten...

Hi,

We are moving to HK with our daughter (4.5 yrs old) from Singapore and are starting looking for a kindergarten for her. We wish the kindergarten to have both English and Mandarin as teaching languages. I have done a bit reserch on internet and it seems that not many schools have that.

Can anyone share with us where to look and, if such schools are not well available, what alternatives can we look at? Thanks a lot.

Please try Victoria International Kindergarten - they offer international KG classes and teach in English and Mandarin. They have KG at Kornhill Garden, North Point and Western District. Please try.

If you kid is already 4.5, why not go directly to prep class of Singapore Int Sch (Nam Long Shan Rd, which is southern part of HK, near Aberdeen)? Just in case you have to return to S'pore she will have no problem adjusting the change.

BTW, where you're going to live will affect your school choice...HK is a little bit bigger than S'pore and travelling from one end to another is not that easy.
