以前學果D國際音標拼音 :
It is the symbol in Dictionary. It pronounce according to its symbol.

現在小朋友學的 PHONICS is 拆英文字拼音

I think 小朋友學的 PHONICS is more useful.

Peopel who know phonics may pronounce words just by looking at the spelling. But in some exceptional cases, the pronounciation from phonics may not be accurate. However, it works well most of the times. That's why it is so popular nowadays. It helps a lot in spelling, dictation and reading aloud.

Phonetics are the symbols of sounds. If you demand 100% accurate pronounciation, you have to go back to phonetics.
