I attended the briefing session of my son's school related to SSPA.
The Principal explained to us that why some school encouraged their best and smartest student to aim high for top notch DSS schools and DP for best government and subsidized schools. Because they are agressive and due to tradition they have high % achieved that.
So in CA, the students left behind still have a good chance from Band 2 upgrade to Band 1, because the best kids got their seats already and no need to rank accordingly. That's the reason why some schools Band 1 students % higher than average. |
