大家對優才書院有甚麼意見?

大家對優才書院有甚麼意見?  
子女正在讀G7,去年需筆試、面試〔普通話+英語〕、學生還需作一篇英文；而家長亦需填寫申請表及和校方職員面談。面試時校方主要了解學生的英語及普通話能力(班主任可能是NET或講普通話)，而家長面談時校方著重於家長對子女的了解及對學校辦學理念的理解及認同。

Do you have any comments about this school?  Your son/daughter like this school or not?  Since your child study in this school, you can tell us more about this school.  What is your opinion....

子女讀了三個月G7即中一，學習生活都是如簡介會中所說的愉快學習，亦不只是開心，學生都有豐富學習環境，而學校對學生要求亦高，學生亦都達到要求。
小班教學：22至24人一班，英文科：一位NET教GT Eng及一位本地英文老師教文法，還有英文課堂內包括Cambridge-PET課程，明年五月所有G7學生都需報考。
功課量不太多，孩子有時間閱讀課外書，校內閱讀包括金庸小說、英文readers、除基本中一課程外，還有成長課、Mentorship(一位老師=mentor帶六位學生，課程包括互相了解、家訪、記識自我、義工服務等)、選修課(如天文學、機械人、..)、才華班(Drama....)、Accelerated Class(英文、數學)、Sports Friday、Clubs & Interest Class等。
老師很有愛心亦很關心及了解學生，孩子在此校很快適應中學生活，各科學習進度理想，而觀察所見孩子的同學雖活躍但都純樸有禮。

I were really impressed by a group of GT secondary students in the last SAT.  They helped TKO YWCA to organise the charity activities and design games for the kids.  They are really polite, cheerful and creative.  They have patiently assisted my daughter to play the games and explained the rules in details.  And the most important thing was their close relationship with their nice teacher, Miss Peggy Chan (just checked the teacher name from the website of GT College).

As I understand, GT students will join the local exam system under 334.  So are they using textbooks similar to govt local schools?  Is there "liberal studies" class starting G7?

They don't have class named as "liberal studies", but they have other classes such as "elective","enrichment"...There's a dept.  of Humanities to implememt the subjects: Chinese hstory, geography & History.
