I want to know, too. Somebody told me today that consultation to parents has just been completed and it is agreed that the school will change to DSS. Could parents in Ying Wa make some clarifications here? Thank you!

I've checked in the Ying Wa discussion forum and parents said consultation has not yet made at this stage!

小學校長講過, 現在只是在初步構思考慮階段, 因未有定案, 所以仍未需咨詢家長.

Although I'm a P0 parent, I don't think the school will change to DSS in rush. (coz the 'through train' will start in year 2007)

I guess the school might need some time in building up their results to obtain support for changing the school to DSS.

The existing students shouldn't be affected, like other schools that changed from subsidized to DSS, the school will inform parents/government in advance. Therefore, during the transitional period, there will be part of students, say P2 - P6 free of charge but P1 with DS ie. need to pay $
