In Wai Chai, I prefer the two subvented schools - 'St. Paul's Primary Catholic School' and 'St.Francis' s Canossian. Which one is better? Please assist.

其實兩間的程度應該差不多。
不過視乎你會選擇半日制或全日制。

St. Francis Canossian - 2007會轉全日嗎?
真係唔知喎！

St. Paul Catholic 一、三、五年級返下晝；而二、四、六年級則返上晝。

From the small sample of students I know, those at St. Paul's Catholic are more outspoken and self confident, while those from St. Francis are more quiet and obedient.
Is there something to do with the culture of the school?
There is no phonics class at SF, is there any at SP?
SF is going to change to whole day school, but not sure whether it can be 2007 as it seems that there is no formal announcement yet.  But I think the latest 2008.
There are a lot of HW at SF.  2 P.1 students told me that they got 10-12 Homeworks on Friday

Is it true? How about ST. Paul's catholic?

As I know, at SP. normal have 6 or 7 HW at weekday, but sometimes more than seven.

Also no phonics calss at SP.

我高年級時星期五係比較多功課真係有大約十份
唔知依家點呢?
但做落又唔覺得用好多時間講真
通常一晚已經可以做完6-7份
weekend仲有好多時間剩

sf的女孩子們的確大部分都很內歛

呢個絕對係sf的文化
sf 唔太喜歡學生標奇立異
所以大家都變得文靜守規

以前, 細女大抽獎都入到, 咁唔知今年轉全日,
機會會唔會微咗呢? 有冇心得?

舊年, 我識人揀第5, 都入到sf, 今年confirm轉全日, 舊年又出左個狀元, sf人氣大升, 真係好難講
睇埋今年結果先啦

Yes.

We've just got a place at SPPCS with 15 points in the 1st round. There is another kid we know who also succeeded with 15 points. There are altogether 9 girls from my kid's school who got a place there in the first round (Not sure about their points though).

Two girls with 15 points also got a place at SFCS in the first round.

When will the lesson start? Actually I'm not living in HK side. If my duagther is so lucky to have the allocation for the first round, I need to consider to move.
