Re: 想請問
Dear rwrwrwrw,
This is a common question to those direct-link school and is not exclusively to Wah-Yan primary, schools like St. Joseph, La Salle.... also facing the same issue.
Extract from EMB -“The government has plans to introduce the criteria to determine whether schools can remain English Medium Instruction, with a view to putting these in place in 2008. In order to use English, a school will have to ensure that 85% of its students fall in the top 40% for English, Maths and Chinese.”
So, this is mandatory for the primary school to brush up the English standard.
I do not have any news or read any related news for the proposed action but I would rather brush up my kid's English is the prime issue to go to a good secondary school.
