Just received the lucky letter for our daughter too! As a "B" (un-related) applicant, this is like winning a lottery indeed! Thanks God.

Hi!
My son received the acceptance letter of SPCCPS, besides the second interview letter of DBSPD, althrough we don't have any relationship with these 2 schools. We are now considering which school my son should go to? Please give us some advices/comments on the comparsion of these 2 schools. We live in Hung Hom, please also advise any school bus service for SPCCPS. Much thanks.

congrat all of those received the acceptantce letter.
Just want to know:

1) how did you feel before open the letter?
2)did you jump up after you open the letter?
3) who take the speech during the interview, dad or mom
4) your kids sit properly during the 2nd in?
5) your profession?

I believe the profession of the parents, specially for father is very important. Any lower level parents were accepted by SPCC ?

I know at least 3 kids ( father is professional+ 1.house-wife 2.mother is also professional ) even do not have the chance of 2 nd IN.

If compared with the society in HK, programmer must not be "lower level".

On the other hand, if compared with SPCC, programmer may be "lower level".

Certainly not! Not body can buy a seat in SPCC.
The people in Alumni and school board are much more richer than you can imagine.

Before getting the letter, I just think 'waiting-list' will be good enough for us, especially after what the principal has said.
I dare not open the letter after taking it out of the mail box. Just think I'll better open it at home. However, when I feel the thickness of the letter, I try to look through the envelop. Tear nearly comes out! I have nothing to say but just give all the praise to GOD.
For me, the 2nd interview was tough! I felt that the principal wanted to stop the conversation after 5 minutes. I therefore started another dialogue and my husband helped me. Although I forgot what I'd said, I believed that letting her know more about the girl's trait and our parenting would be better. The interview lastly ended after 15 minutes.
Add Oil to all those who are still waiting or planning to apply in the future.

Yes, I am very happy.

No, I won't because I am in the lift lobby

3) who take the speech during the interview, dad or mom
Mostly my husband, and we talk about 35 minutes. My husband is full of confidence that my son will be accepted.

4) your kids sit properly during the 2nd in?
No, he always move and move because before the interview, we wait for nearly one hour.

5) your profession?
Civil Servant only

a friend of mind, father is Ph.D, a professor in one of the U in HK, mother is M.Phil, got reference letter from a political public person, still dont' have the 2nd interview.
