I will first let them to learn Piano in the beginning. Because if child can have a good base on piano, then they can pick up another instructment easily.
I will observe and see if they like it or not (for example: Beside attending class, will they go and play the piano by themselves at home without forcing them).
And from time to time, I will to talk to them and see if they like the teacher and see if they like to continue?!
If they don't, I need them to give me reason. And I will think myself rather or not I am the one who forcing him without knowing their interest.
I can give you an example: I don't realize that my girl-4 years old don't like to SWIM. Until one day, she start telling me that she wanted to vomit. And of course, as a mother, I won't let her to go and attend the swimming class. And on another Sunday, she told me that she felt sick on her stomache, and every time on Sunday. You can see that she looks not as happy as before.
