As many parents said
for English, 國際 is better than 根德園.
for Chinese, 根德園 is better than 國際
I heard that SC will have Putonghua class in the coming year. I will choose SC since it has less homework.

我係喇小P2仔家長, 以我所知, 基本上每班comes from呢2間kinder既人數都差唔多, 聽到有其他家長話在中文科及數學科根德學生係好些, 尤其係堂課心算, 英文就大家差唔多. 講果個唔係根德家長. 而每班頭5名都有根德仔, 有無SC就唔知.
但P2就唔知keep唔keep到啦!
我仔以前係根德, 但其實上到P2就應該咩KINDER都分別唔大, 係叻既就叻, 好多其他KINDER黎既考頭幾名, 都好講家長努唔努力架.

I heard from someone that in LS, or other very traditional famous schools, the performance of kv kids are much better. But for sc, their Eng background is good, but some may not catch up the chinese /Maths if their parents didn't additionally add somethings for them in kindergartens.

I vote SC as the English standard is good which can help him to have a better English foundation in future. There is also native speaker which can help your kid expose to foreigners. If you worry about the standard of Chinese and Maths, you may consider enrolling your kid to playgroups in summer before they enter to LS for revision.

My son was studying SC and now he is studying KV becasue I found Chinese & Maths & English standard also good in KV. I just put him to join an english class after school. His english also good and sometime he talks english story by himself while he is playing toys at home.

My daughter was graduated at St. Cat. I think kindie students should not have lots of homework and writing to do. They should learn from daily routine and games. She's now studying in KTS and has no problem with her Chinese and Maths. The selling point for St. Cat is its Eng. (and now it is providing Putonghau/Eng class). I think it's more effective for kids to learn Eng. when he can have a native Eng. speaking teacher for 20 mins EVERYDAY. KV may be able to teach reading and writing, but listening and speaking......I still think everyday practise is very important. There is no native English teacher in KV. Kids studying may not have enough opportunity to practise their speaking (at least not with a native Eng teacher).

For me, I love SC first because they have eng teacher in class, but some parents told me KV is more tranditional . So my target Primary is LaSalle which is very tranditional . I asked the tuitors last two years ago. KV kids are more easy to pick up. So I give up SC , At Sep - Oct 04, my son go to KV am, and SC pm . To compare which one is the most suitable for my son. Both kinder he love but I found KV class rooms more standard,bigger and clean. Athough my son told me both are quite old, he saw some crack on the wall with old floor.

Hahah, it is because he compared with Victoria Pre-nursey which classrooms are very beautiful and full of toys.

KV is requirment is higher than SC. At SC, you may get a nice report with all A+ and good comand. But the report of KV is only shown the higher marks in grade B+ to A. Even my son got the highest mark at Victoria, but only fair in this school.
The writing skill must tbe fast and nice in class.
Mental training is the most important in this kinders.
That why they all calculation is very good in P1 at LS.

In K3, they are learning some statistic graphic and times 2x2 , 40+10-5 ...., write some father is a man, mother is a woman, My teacher is Ms. Lam...

其實兩間都好好，適合讀邊間真係要視乎小朋友既性格，我覺得如入讀La Salle, 無話讀邊間kindergarten有利，最主要睇家長可否同學校作出適當的配合。
但好多人話讀傳統kindergarten 較易適應, 因為La Salle係傳統教學，但La Salle 下年都轉活動教學，咁講法, 係吾係活動教學既kindergarten students 較易適應呢？
