Yes, but in the first round, the school will accept the best students they can get, and there is no need to give all quota to their own primary students.
Under the new rule of EMI, EMI has to take in 80% (or 85%?) band 1 students, so EMI schools will try their best to take in band 1 students. In Holy Family primary, about 40%+ are band 1, so HF secondary will try to get more band 1 students from outside in order to maintain its EMI status. So I guess ultimately about 50% of HF primary can get into HF secondary. |
