  Oh wonderful!  If your baby love musical DVD , encourage he to move his little body!  Some DVD will have dance with the music, like head-shoulder-knee-and-toes.  Baby learns better if you sit with him too!

  Mother Goose is great!  My only problem is try to catch up with the baby,  要背歌詞啦.

For language absorption, yes lor, cartoon movie(just listen wor) or story telling cds ar are good.
I give her many music cds too, and i don't know whether that have any connection, i found that my girl seldom cry, always happy, like to play and  laugh(sometimes crazily) most of the time. Don't know whether she is born like that or because of the music listening..........??   
Your daughter is very lovely, and don't seems like only 2 months old!
