Hope that my experience will not affect your decision.  When my daughter aged 4, she got a place in a class for theory (1 year course) accompanied by parents.  In the first lesson, 12 kids in a class with 12 electronic piano.  Within one hour, teacher did so many activities and exercises in order to attract kid's attention.  I think it is fair as they should make variety to attract the kids.  However, the theory they taught in the first lesson was very very difficult for a 4-yr kid to answer. For example, the teacher taught them what was high tone and what was low tone in the first class.  And then, the teacher did exercise immediately in the class that she requested students to raise their right hand if she pressed high tone while left hand if she keyed low tone.  Oh, my goodness, my daughter at 4 couldn't identify which was right hand and which was left, not to mention what is high and what is low.  Tony expect parents teach and take revision for their kids at home, they don't care the extent and level of the syllabus.  You know, I quite the class immediately as I don't agree with their teaching method.  Kid has to enjoy the class.  The syllabus is too challenging and difficult for a kid to arouse interest.  My friend told me that almost 50% of children quite the class half year later and she was the minority one who is and patient and keen to keep up!

靈靈九月開始會返沙田柏斯10:15am兒童鋼琴班。

其實那些complain Fixed-Do既琴老師自己唔慣，腦筋轉得唔夠快，如果你去過大學上音樂堂就知道這是什麼一回事．有時耳仔叻唔過學生千萬唔好亂Complain.
　
我收那些 Fixed-Do的學生耳仔好勁，轉Key又快，一落手即中，真的好可愛．反而那些ABC學生Aural好參差，到高級時Aural有點力不從心.

那些Fixed-Do的學生得閒會彈下十大上榜流行歌，歌譜連街都未有，而且有Chord有Harmony.  而ABC學生就未有人做到．
