you can check this out in the public library first, don't buy them,

there are many such books in the public library, all on the same shelf. you find one, you find the others.

I read 曾勵予著.英國中學名校指南 (524.841 8071) in 2001 and 晉身英國名校全攻略 (524.841 8071) in 2005. Her daughter got 11A (狀元) and study in Year 2 in Cambridge. She said that her daughter already got a job.

The book gives you some information of first 500 boarding schools in UK.

[曾勵予是曾鈺成妹妹，中文大學翻譯系文學碩士，從事新聞工作多年，近年移居英國倫敦，星島日報歐洲辦事處出任執行總監。父親是香港經濟日報集團董事總經理麥華章。麥丹先就讀于香港拔萃小學，１１歲隨母到倫敦升中學，入讀著名的聖保羅女子中學。]

I read "放心去飛. 1 and 2" (about UK) (528.2 7216). 劉佳佳 is more ambiguous than 麥丹. They both study in St Paul's Girls' School. Nearly all good universities admit 劉佳佳. She finally study in Harvard.

曾勵予 did not talk much about her observation but the book is a summary of school information.

"放心去飛. -劉佳佳's dad is great, he finished university education in china during late cultural revolution, then got his phd in imperial college, he is now the senior lecturer in imperial, that is really not easy. so his book is more interesting.of course he got a great daughter.

the difference is: one can bearly understood written chinese, the other got A in o'Level chinese

Just curious to know why you are so interested. What is your planning?

Just curious to know why you are so interested. What is your planning?

I want to send my kid to england when he is in F3, but it all depends on how mature he is at that time,
or just send him to an international school here.
