Hi, are there any parents of St.Paul's Convent Primary? Are the teachers there kind and patient enough? Are the students there able to learn happily and how about the work load? How many exams in a term? please share..

Hi,

Work load is reasonable, esp for P.1 - P.3 students. I think most students study happily and have lots of play time and time for extra curricular activities.
The teachers are quite nice and fair to the students.
There are 2 tests and 2 exams in an academic year. Only assess four subjects, Eng, Chin, Maths and Gen. Studies, therefore workload is not much.

The other subjects are only assessed by the teachers through daily work, group projects and in-class performances. And only grading is given to other subjects, no marks. Also, I haven't heard of anyone ever failed in the minor subjects, usually you can get Grade A, B or C.
Regarding the swimming lessons, there are no swimming lessons in the primary, though there is a swimming pool in the school, the pool belongs to the secondary section.

St. Paul's Convent School (Primary Section) in Causeway Bay is a full-day English private primary school.

My daughter enjoy studying there very much!
