How about 史丰收?

I am also considering to change my girl from Kumon Maths to 史丰收 as my girl is not willing like to do Kumon. She feels bore.

My friend's son has already changed from Kumon to
史丰收 one year ago. She commented that his son is willing to do it and the teaching method is quite good for kid. It is easy to use and understand it.

Do you have any comments about this learning of Maths?

唔知係咪我 miss 左呢, 無再睇到有關報導了.

其實數學真係好睇小朋友, 身邊有朋友既小朋友好 enjoy 公文數, 但上網睇到好多都好抗拒. 真係要試過先知. 但個人認為,最緊要係令小朋友唔抗拒數學先, 繼而令佢地愛上數.

另外, 大家可以 search 下有關 "成子娟博士 - 操作式學前數學" 的資料, 雖然對小學生來說已有點過時, 但值得家長們參考一下. 數學概念,數與數之關係,怎樣由抽象概念化為具體事物.......

暫時未見其它net-mama有意見，我曾等下先因唔想報錯course 令女兒無從適應！

abasus is 珠心算. But as you mentioned, I'm still doubt about it. So may be 指心算

About kumon, if learn in K3, would it be better? or still 30 mins playgroup and 15 mins paper? Can a K3 student go straight to learn "

lus" and "minus" rather than matching etc? (because K3 student already know these)..... But still there are lots of repetition in doing exercises...

3.Refer to :a K3 student go straight to learn (plus and minus), sorry, I don't think so! because the kumon 著重打好基楚(如數點由1至100，再到數，再重覆要熟等) 。
4.my friend's daught 升一級(around 3mths) 最初級好似由1A to 1E級。
5.其實你有興趣可以book位，聽下講座取資料看。

你可以去大間的書店找奧數習作第一冊睇下Ｄ內容，我覺得可以自己教但你無材料(paper)就唔知點教！(即係要買習作)。

我決定唔會同佢報任何一班,但大d一定會報奧數.個人認為數學著重操練 ,一星期上一小時又有咩用?

有 d 心算班,計數係由前面計起, 又有 d 係打橫計. 若果小朋友能力上,進位加減數基礎都未打好時,父母又將他們送到 workshop 學其他方法,會否令他們好混亂呢? 自己衡量啦.廢話都要講句,能力上得既話,學邊種都冇所謂 , 睇師資 law.

自己就用公文式既方法,日日操練, print 定 d 數學題,一日大約20題,視乎小朋友既能力,慢慢再上.公文式原則係要響指定時間完成若干題目,個人認為,到小朋友熟練及有信心時,先再用時間限制.有d小朋友迫得有d唔迫得,要家長自己觀察 .

有隻 VCD "小朋友看世界 - 數學123" / "Big World for Little People - Math for Beginners" 雖然for 3-8歲 , 講數學加減乘除,乘除個2 parts 講解得好實在,另有教小數位,一d都唔抽像.數學底子打得唔好既小朋友可以睇下當溫書 ,會有得著.

(順帶一提,其餘"小朋友看世界"一系列有
"人體的奧秘";
"待人接物"- 講禮貌,公平及專重;
"做人處事"- 講建立自信,俾人蝦時點樣保護自己;
"奇妙的宇宙"
都好有教育意味之餘,d 卡通好得意,仲有中英雙語選擇 , 勁正!!)
