Sorry to here the bad news. But if you really like the school, I think you could keep trying; write to principal Lau to ask them to let you know if they have a space. I might do this if my girl fail the 2nd interview.
For my girl's application, I wrote a letter to principal Lau explaining why we apply. Also, I prepared a profile for my girl talking about her strengths and interests; include 1-2 awards and some certificates. Somewhat like portfolio for P.1 application, but a simplified version. Don't know if these help; I did it because I thought they might help.
With respect to the written test, my girl finished Eng & Math paper, but not able to finish the Chinese paper (left out at least four questions, she said she was disturbed by a girl who sang and talked during the test). My girl couldn't recall any of the questions. She just felt she did better in Eng & Math than Chinese. She is now studying in a private traditional school; somewhat well-known, but not as famous as schools like DGS, Good Hope etc. Her school result is only average; average score around 80/80+. |
