Dear WLM,
When I asked Macmillen the cost fee months ago, they didn't offer any discount, but I don't know if there's any changes now. Wide Eye, previously they offered free trial lesson, seems that they offer another kind of free lesson now, you may call them for details.
I don't like Macmillen because they are too commercial, and they're very strict to the students, 'sit down and listen'. Although they said the students can read the very strange combination of letters after completed their whole course, but I don't think it's needed, what is the purpose to ask them to read a word that may totally not english. My son has learnt phonics for months, he can read simple english book by himself, and he loves to go the phonics class so much, I think it's enough.
You can pay a visit to the centre as they are at the same building, and I'm sure you will find the 2 are very different, the teachers at Wide Eye always play with the children before or after class, and I prefer this kind of teachers. |
