1st: listening - CD and story book (to provide an English speaking environment, like learning mother language. That is the 1st skill to develop.)
2nd: Oral - if they listen a lot, they will be able to speak, just like learning mother language.
3rd: Reading - let the kid to try reading story with simple and repeated sentences.
4th: Phonics - learn the phonics sounds and vowels, etc, so that the kid will learn how to pronoun properly. It's not a must. But if they capture the skill, their pronunciation will be better.
5th: Understanding the meaning and spelling of words, and know how to use it. |
