如果我去英國打算去d family homestay 同d鬼婆住~~而去canada就同我大家姐住... 去英國就淨係讀英文果d班之後好似話升類似大學果dwor 去canada就讀F.5一年再升大學... 我Daddy就話由我決定lor!!

It's hard to say where you should go to further your studies as it depends on a lot of factors. What's your goal? What do you want to pursue? What field of study, what school? How about your budget? No one can answer that for you. You'll need to do a lot of research. It also depends on your HKCEE results. If you go for top- notch schools like Cheltenham Ladies College, you'll need excellent results and also to pass an admission test and the fees are over 7000 pounds per term. If you only want to learn English, what kind of program do you have in mind? If you join your sister in Canada, you'll speak less English but she'll be there when you need help. However, you still need at least one year of F.6 (Grade 12) and whether the high school will admit you to Grade 11 or 12 will again depend on your HKCEE results. And you'll need to pass the TOFEL requirement for university.

其實如果去英國讀個英文係咪好白痴呢... 但係去canada入唔到大學又好似"沙晒"d時間咁wor... 因為我而家係香港都讀緊ive... 其實我唔係好想去不過Mummy就好固執成日覺得外國好 Mummy由我讀中三果年就叫我去果次我喊過死都話唔鐘意佢就冇講之後我中五畢o左業又o黎過上星期我先喊過之後我亞媽好似好唔開心咁鬧我 "你自己諗o下啦...人地果果d英文去完都la la聲ar..."...仲之就好唔開心啦...因為都係亞媽迫先至去... 之前我d家姐都係佢迫去... 但係講真都係大家姐同二家姐叻d 我就係咩都依懶人o既... 我同我亞媽鬧架都係為o左哩d事... 之後話佢分開晒我地佢又係o度解釋wor...

Not sure about your HKCEE results, if your English is not very good, then maybe go to UK to study English and pre-U courses for a year or two.  It is in fact good for you to study sometime overseas on your own, so that you can learn to be more independent.  Boarding schools in UK are better than in Canada.

I know some teens going to Canada to study G11 and 12, but cannot adapt well as they are too relying on parents in the past and cannot study independently.  So cannot enter University afterwards.  It is not so easy to enter U in Canada now.  You can ask your sister.

If you still don't like studying overseas after a year or so, then you can tell your parents and come back to study in local Us.

Just my thoughts.  You should do some more detail research and know better what you really like to study in future first.

I think you posed a wrong question from the outset. The first question you should have asked is what you could gain from going abroad. Then you should have done a research, from a thorough comparison of the education systems in different countries to the climate of each city you would like to go.

From what you have said, I found that neither your mom nor you have tried to convince the other that her or your decision would be the most beneficial. Imagine the scene that you were doing such a research and making a plan with all fine details together with your mom, do you think you would cry and cry and cry?

Who else understands your needs better than your mom and you yourself?

我成日覺得外國d英文班只係食錢, 開始就話讀20weeks, 之後又話你d英文唔ok, 又要你再讀多20weeks......係我就直接讀中學好過, 反正中學都係以英語為主, 好過將d錢同時間放係英文班度.

其實我今年覺得自己"沙晒"d錢咁...因為係哩間學校好似冇學到野咁... 可能因為自己D成績較差...所以d進度跟唔上...以前我係中文學校...而家用晒英文~~ 如果我去canada讀中學已經18歲lor~~ 我問過d學校佢話7月有d英文班讀o下sin 9月就正式上堂... 而去英國係聽d朋友仔講讀d英文班再升d大學wor...
