re: Leap Pad Machine

My friend has given me the following info:

The machine is now on sales ( price $25x till Feb 12)at "Bumps to Babes"
address : Central, 5/F, Pedder bldg, 12 Pedder Street, tel #25525000

The price is much lower than in Toyruxx. I will go there to have a look tomo and see if the books and accessories are also on sales la.

I want to ask why you don't buy it from the company ( located at abredeen) or the other shop where mention (like the old shop at causeway bay) I also had interest ing to find one for my son. Can you tell me what your finding when compare the product . Thank you

Are you refering to the one for age 4-8 "Leappad" ? If so, it is good since it sold $399 in Toyrus. I have talked to Toyrus staff and he recommend me to buy this one although our child under 3 as we can buy those books marked as "

re-K". ie. quite simple. Pls share with us your findings.

Yes, the one is for age 4-8 Leap Pad. I went there today. They are selling at ~$255 (original ~$359). But they don't have any discount on the books (@$119.9). I think I will buy the machine tomo.

The one for age under 3 is really simple. If you want your BB to learn from the machine instead of playing, the one for age 4-8 would be better.

Thanks for your big findings ! I will buy this instead of "My 1st leappad" as more books are available in Toyrus $120@. However, since I am not working in Central so can you help to check for any stock left ? It's appreciate if they can provide us the pricelist of booklet either in website or by fax so that we can check which books are suit for our child age.

I went to the Bump to Babies today and bought the machine with one book. Haven't tried yet. I think there are plenty stocks as I saw more than 10 pieces on display. But they don't have much choices for the books. For the machine I bought and the related booklets, pls view the following website:

They open from 10am to 7pm, but I don't know if they open on Sunday or not. Pls call them before going.
