Round 1: (already finished) you can apply as much DSS or private schools as you like. At the sametime, you can choose only one 津小 or Government School. The application form is hand to the school directly. 津小 or Government School can only choose student according to the marking scheme (ie school council member's son 20 marks, old boys ? 10 points etc...) Schools cannot choose students by any examination or interview. If same marks, they can only 抽簽. In order to show that the school is fair, schools usually dedicate the 抽簽 to the education department. This part consititue 50 % of the places of that school.
Round 2: If the student do not have any offer from the first round or DSS, they will enter round 2.
Parents can choose 3 choices of any school. Your address do not count. Allocation is only by 抽簽. This will take 10% of each school's place.
If you still have no offer after that, then you will enter the round 3. You can have ? choices. In this round your address do count. The allocation is also by 抽簽 only.
To All BK parents: Please correct me if I'm wrong. My kids lucky have an offer from DSS. So I do not need to go through the above process at this moment. |
