We never can avoid the mosquitoes in the open campus because the school environment is surrounded by flowers, plants, trees and ponds with frogs hopping inside. In classrooms the air-conditioning will keep the mosquitoes away during summer time. Anyway, the school has installed mosquitoes killer machines in the campus and will send memos to parents every summer to remind them the ways of avoiding the kisses from those little insects. Like most parents, I will put the anti-mosquitoes stickers on my child's uniform. I do not think it is a problem to me.

Bighug,

Bear in mind that selecting right school to your kid is the major duty of each parent.

If you feel frustrated and unclear where to go, just to see more in this forum to read and listen carefully to the sharing of the other parent. Another way is getting more objective data, say the allocation result to secondary school. When there is open day organised by your intended school, you also have to actively to go with your kid to look around.

You yet have one more year to do the research and all best wishes to you. :wink:

我想問一個問題就係課室裏面向窗口望會睇到d咩野???會唔會睇到火車???因為我個仔係標準火車迷,我驚如果係窗口見到火車的話佢會上堂冇心機呀

(佢話考幾間小學最中意就係呢間----因為可以睇到火車

Only P.1 classrooms just opposite to the railway but quite a distance. Maybe you ask him to see trains in the playround during recess or don't put him to sit next the window?

Or he will not be too much excited if he can see the trains everyday!

as i can not challenge teacher's decision!!!

Thanks Gigi! Your information is really helpful. I really appreciate your time and efforts in great details for the explanation. Do not be hurt by some parents' query of whether you are hard selling KTS or not. I believe your ideas are quite objective. My son was admitted by KTS recently and I really need info like this to understand KTS more.

BTW, do you know if there is any relationship between KTS (Primary) and KTS (Secondary)? I heard some parents said KTS-P is good but KTS-S is not good. Any advice?

KTS primary is private owned whilst KTS secondary is subsidized. Both of them have no connection some years ago and most of our parents will consider other alternatives while choosing secondary schools.

By the way, thank you for your understanding. My efforts only proved myself that I am not the one of parents to choose school only based on the fame of schools but will search thoroughly for my girl before enrolment and after joining school I am the parent who will appreciate with my chosen school and support it.

Do you mean PTA? This was newly setup last year. Other than that, a range of seminars will be organized for parents to attend. The contents are mostly about children development issues in areas of conduct and psychology. In addtion, school sports day, picnic or some extra-curricular activities on Saturday.

Yes, we have. For example, the story telling mommy etc.

請問怎樣知道kts的課程比較深?是不是看學校用什麽出版社的書?怎樣知道學校用的書好不好?請問kts的中英數是用什麽出版社的?
