I think that both schools are different and each got its own advantages and attractiveness.  What you need to consider is whether your kid's characters are suitable for the particular school. I guess ICQM is more focused on music and if our kid is interested in music, I would highly recommend this school.  On the other hand, it is new and the facililities and environment is really terrific while Rhenish Kowloon is quite old in terms of this aspect.  In addition, ICQM is a 一條龍 school and you don't need to worry about the secondary school place allocation.

Of course, Rhenish Kowloon is a well-established primary school with quite a long history and tradition and feedbacks are positive from parents so far.  

I have enrolled my kid into ICQM already.

    Have you applied for other schools? Is your child interested in music? I have also enrolled my kid into ICQM already. Hope that I can see you there in the coming September.

Hi, ddd,

So glad to hear that you have reserved a place for your son in ICQM.  Have u made the decision already?  Actually, I have thought of applying Rhenish Kowloon as well before but since ICQM offered my son a place already and it is my first priority, I decided not to waste time further.  Anyway, I do have some reservation at first since I worry that my judgement on observation on my son may not be accurate.  My son is interested in music and in order to explore his talent further, I have arranged piano lesson for him as well as joining the school choir.  I hope that he would be exposed more to music and hopefully can get used to the learning environment of ICQM soon.

Hope to see you in ICQM.  I guess there will be some functions early next year for the P1 pupils 2006-7.
