一條龍其實是一個很好的概念，可以讓學生活學、少壓力下地求學，不是盲目地追求分數。但如果一定要附加85% band 1這一項條件，做唔到的英中便要落車變中中，我相信現今連La Salle 都未必做得到。根本就是一個陷井(我相信結咗龍的學校會咁唸)，百年名校會否比你拆招牌？推出這條方案，根本就是本末倒置，不能解決問題之餘，再增加更多問題。所以點解咁多學校hold住唔結龍或睇定D就係咁解。
至於結咗龍的學校就大件事啦，要保住百年名校英中招牌，就要連小學開始作轉變，課程改啦，重要提升小學的教學質數，務求做到可與中學接軌，個個band 1生，談何容易啊，始終又係回復一層壓一層，中學壓小學、小學壓老師、老師壓學生、學生壓家長，可能個壓力重會比以往大，所以這個教改真失敗。

呢個咁既「85%」直情同「一條龍」打對台喇！
結左龍既想輕鬆學習？難D囉…
而家有直屬小學既名校間間”tun呔”喇，仲接龍咩！
已經接左龍既真係無計喇，
中、英、數三科都要85%達標喎，
而家講緊英語教學啫，但又要睇晒三科，
真係有邊間做得到吖？！

大家唔洗悲觀住，雖然諮詢期已過左幾個月，但個轉車制未落實，而且係董建華在任時攪出黎既一筆蘇州x，又有好多反對聲音從四方八面來，未必會成功實行。

我很認同 st.bintai 的睇法, 政府用教改來做到用者自付的大原則, 從而減少公帑支出.

現時直屬或聯繫中小學, 始終都要面對是否接龍或轉直資問題, 因為教改之一是會取消直屬或聯繫中小學.

The amended proposal is said to be issued by early December, but seems that there won't be too much difference from the first time, only that the 85% may be lowered to 80% for schools with primary, and they can decide to be one-dragon or not one or two years later after 2006.

聖馬可中小學都是一條龍, 中學是Band 1, 但小學未結龍前口卑奇差,冇家長揀,難道與之結龍後就等於有相同教學理念?教學質素會提升?揀得過嗎?請賜教!

Of course some of schools think that they joint to be one dragon will have greater attraction to student, in fact it is now. But I think very soon parent will find it is not the case since both pri. and sec. school didn't reform/streamline their teaching and thus cannot bring out the adv. of one-dragon. I read through the comments on this topic and find most of it are negatively perceived, just thinking of gov. to save money. It is the result not the cause. You should remember that not long time ago before 1997, most are the lower garde U graduate will enter the teacher profeesion. As a parent, will you comfortable for them to teach your kids. Those school should it be killed?

I am for to the ed. reform since it is the last chance for HK to back track now before it is too late but the implementation seems confusing. Also, both pri. , sec. and even parent are not ready for it (still insist on how many marks their kids can score, how is their ranking in their grade). Can those parent just take a look on the adv. from gov. - give freedom and care to the child, not to pressurised them.

Thank you for your advice. Please also let me know the location of 天神嘉諾撒學校 and 嘉諾撒聖瑪利學校 as 聖瑪利 is my choice for my baby. Kindly advise me which kindergarten is easier to directly enter its primary school as I am now applying kindergarten for my baby.

天神嘉諾撒學校 is in Hung Hom whereas 嘉諾撒聖瑪利學校 and 嘉諾撒聖瑪利書院 is at same campus in TST. As I know there's no kindergarten through which that can easier to enter the primary schools. My daughter is now studying at St. Mary's Canossian school (P.1).
