Mine is the same. My daughter is in P3. I am paying $180 per hour. Two times a week, two hours each time to the teacher.

是否補全科? 形式是怎樣? 我基本上不要求做功課和dict, 那2hrs/week 是否巳足夠?

be honest, i think a little bit expensive (may vary depends on the subject and teacher), my son's private tutor is a university student (for primary is satisified), she only charge for $130/hour, mainly teach him phonics and mandarin

The teacher is a x-primary school teacher.  She is recommended by my very very close friend (my x-tutor actually) who is also a teacher.  She told me that is the market price.

We started in summer mainly on Chinese and Chinese composition.  She use different method to guide her to write sentence and short passage.  Now after school starts, I ask her to take care of General Sci in chinese as well.

I can see some progress on her writing skill but there is still a long way evaluate whether the cost is really justify.  I would say its expensive also.  However, I know my x-tutor won't cheat me.

You have to know what you are looking for.  If you are asking for general tutor to make sure that the kids are not lazy, that may be too expensive.

i've discussed with my hubby and he said tried and see the exam result of my son would be better or not. By the way, which school does your kid study in? My son studies in Fotan.
