I think what Judy meant is this:
If you take part in the first part of the allocation exercise then it depends on how many points you've got. If your mom is a Maryknoller then you get 10 points. If you are a Catholic then you get another 5. Then it is almost a "sure win" situation. Being a Maryknoller (in the old days, at least) is a sign of being "well bred" (good blood).
If you take part in part 2 (lucky draw) then it is all a matter of luck. |
